Dr. Oscar T. Ortiz

Dr. Oscar T. Ortiz is Board Certified in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. He finished his training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s/ Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY in 1994. After his residency, he was awarded as a Research Scholar of the NIH/NIDDK (National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases) at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where he also finished his Fellowship. He was trained under Dr. John Bilezikian, leading expert in Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases. He was also an Assistant in Clinical Medicine and taught several medical students during his training in aspects of Diabetes, Thyroid and Pituitary diseases. He attended his medical school at the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. He likes to play golf and travel with his wife.
